I have done some metal detecting. The beaches at Tahoe can give you coins. I have never found jewlrey, but know thers who have. I personally love detecting around old mine sites. The hard part is all the junk you find as well. You have to be patient and have a good machine that cancels the junk. I am working with an older whites. Love whites. Good luck and have lots of fun!
